Our Youth Referee Program is a great way for players ages 12 and up to stay involved in the game while developing valuable leadership and life skills. Referees build confidence, improve communication and decision-making, and gain real job experience in a fun, supportive environment.
Starting pay is $15 per game, and for those interested in advancing, TYSA will cover the cost of referee certification. Whether you're looking for your first job, want to grow as a leader, or simply love the game, becoming a referee is a rewarding way to give back to the soccer community while continuing to learn and grow.

*Certification not required to referee. Certification increases pay at Rec games, and allows ability to referee higher paying competitive games.

Our Youth Referee Program does more than teach the rules of the game—it helps young people develop confidence, leadership, responsibility, and real-world job skills. Open to youth ages 12 and older, the program provides paid opportunities to officiate Recreation matches while gaining valuable work experience in a supportive environment.
