Our Story
Transylvania Youth Soccer Association (TYSA) is a non-profit organization that has been developing soccer programs for the community since 2000 and has served thousands of youth and families since its inception.
TYSA works to create joy-filled environments where youth can develop soccer skill and build character that serve our kids both on and off the field. Our values and culture make us different.
Our programs primarily serve youth in Transylvania and Henderson Counties of Western, NC, but we welcome players from Polk, Buncombe and other neighboring areas from season to season.
Our journey began over 20 years ago when a group of passionate individuals saw the need for organized soccer programs in Transylvania County. Since then, we have grown into a thriving organization that impacts the lives of many and is part of the cultural fabric of our Western NC home.
Ecusta Football Club (EFC) is the competitive branch of TYSA, which includes our Academy and Classic teams. Our competitive teams have competed and won at very high levels of soccer competition throughout the State and region.
In November 2023, TYSA was proud to complete the Ecusta Field project, complete with high-quality lights, turf, and fencing. This project, like everything we've accomplished, was only possible through the personal donations, support and sacrifice of many local families.
