Discover Our Story

Providing soccer programs for thousands of youth and families since 2000

Our Story

Transylvania Youth Soccer Association (TYSA) is a non-profit organization that has been facilitating soccer programs for the community since 2000 and has served thousands of youth and families since its inception. TYSA seeks to foster the growth of youth in Transylvania and Henderson County and surrounding communities, regardless of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, ability, or any other factor, through the sport of soccer.

TYSA was founded with the vision of creating a soccer community that embraces inclusivity, diversity, and excellence. Our journey began with a group of passionate individuals who saw the need for organized soccer programs in Transylvania County, and we have since grown into a thriving organization that impacts the lives of many. In 2023, we established the Ecusta Football Club for our competitive programs, Academy and Classic. In November 2023, TYSA completed Transforming the Ecusta Field with lights, turf, and fencing. We are proud to have created a soccer community that welcomes and supports individuals from all walks of life.
